Despite the 3-loss early setback, I'm pleased that the freshmen (and others) are being forced to grow into their positions way earlier than usual. KK, Ashlynn, Q, Ice are "maturing" very quickly. Paige, Aaliyah, Nika, Aubrey now have the underclass assistance they will need to succeed in March. I am very hopeful. Perhaps the early losses and low ranking will work in the Huskies's favor down the late winter stretch. It's only too bad that Azzi, Caroline, & Ayanna have to support this winning effort from the sidelines..
