I enjoy this podcast in general. It is always enjoyable, and they do make one think. One thought they had——-it would be good if this were a close game as it would give them some experience in reacting to close games ——-was something I do not agree with at all. I want them to dominate UNC. Why? Because it will be evidence that this might be a truly special team.

I agree that Sarah is very consistent over the course of a game. She is a superstar. My sense is she is adapting to being number 2——and it must be difficult for her. But I expect Paige and Sarah to be an excellent tandem.

I have been very pleasantly surprised by Shade. In particular her defense and overall tenacity. I did not expect her to be this good——and her offense is even better——lefty layups are always impressive.

I have always worried about Ice. I like her al lot . It is good to see that Geno is impressed. But I still would like to see her up her game even faster

I cannot wait until Azzi is back on the court. One can have the thought —-I have—-that it can be difficult to have too many stars. But, of course, that is not true. Because stars can optimize their play. Ironically, I am not sure that it is optimal for Paige to be a score first player. If anyone is able to figure out how to get the most out of the team it is her. (of course if she keeps shooting at 80% —that might be the way to go!)

I don’t fully trust our two inside bigs——but I expect to be wrong as the season devlelops. As great as this team seems like it can be, we really don’t know yet. USF is a “real” team—-their foul shooting made them seem worse than they were——and Uconn had to play hard—-and they did.

Let’s face it—-the ND, USC and SC games will tell the true story. But I really like this team

Nice breakdown...agree with Michelle, UConn should be stepping on everyone's throat. no need to play a close game in November...regarding North Carolina, they can only be a better team this year since Deja Kelly is gone off to Oregon so she can now stop sticking pins into her Nika Muhl doll :)
